Girls: join the GB and … make lifelong friends, get creative, develop faith and find answers, have fun, be part of a team, build confidence and self-esteem, discover new gifts and skills, be challenged to achieve your potential, learn to “Seek, Serve and Follow Christ”.

The GB runs on a Friday evening, September to Easter in the Church hall and welcomes girls aged 3-18 years:

  • Explorers (Pre-school – P.4) meet 6.15-7.30 pm;
  • Juniors (P.5-P.7) and Seniors (Yr.8-Yr.10) meet 7.30-9.30 pm;
  • Brigaders (Yr.11-Yr.14) meet at 7.30-10.00 pm

Our volunteer staff team includes fully-trained Officers and Sub-Officers, working together to run the programmes for the girls. The weekly programme includes spiritual, physical, educational, social and creative activities to promote the all-round development of the girls, enabling them to achieve a range of badges and awards, including the Brigader Brooch and Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

As a uniformed organization we encourage the girls to take pride in their appearance and in the symbols of Girls’ Brigade.

The aim of Girls’ Brigade, being a Christian organisation, is: to help girls to become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ; and through self-control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life.
